Quick Elements

Cookie policy

The browser storage we actually use.

Last updated · October 22, 2026

A practical explanation of the cookies and similar technologies used by Quick Elements.

01

Key points

This policy explains the small set of cookies and similar browser storage Quick Elements uses.

  • Essential cookies keep sign-in, security, and form protection working.
  • Functional storage remembers preferences you choose.
  • Analytics, when enabled, are aggregate and used to improve the service.
  • We do not sell cookie data. Our public pages and checkout use Meta's pixel to measure which ads lead to purchases; your signed-in control panel does not. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we leave it out.
  • Third-party tools such as payment, email, cloud, or embedded services may set their own cookies when you use them.
02

Our approach

We use cookies and similar browser storage for practical product needs: authentication, security, preferences, diagnostics, and analytics. On our public pages and checkout, and nowhere else, we also use them to measure which of our Meta ads lead to purchases. Essential cookies cannot be disabled because the service will not work securely without them.

03

The cookies we set

quick-elements-sessionEssentialKeeps your signed-in session active and secure. The default idle lifetime is 90 days unless the environment changes it.
XSRF-TOKENEssentialProtects forms and authenticated requests from cross-site request forgery.
remember_web_*EssentialUsed only if you choose a remember-me sign-in option.
qe_preferencesFunctionalRemembers product preferences such as layout choices when that feature is enabled.
qe-themeFunctionalStored in local storage, not a cookie, to remember your display preference.
_qe_analyticsAnalyticsUsed only when privacy-respecting aggregate analytics are enabled.
_fbpAdvertisingSet by Meta's pixel on our public pages and checkout, so we can see which of our ads lead to purchases. Not set if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
_fbcAdvertisingSet by the same pixel when you arrive from one of our Meta ads, so a purchase can be credited to that ad.
qe_meta_clickAdvertisingSet by our own pages and checkout, not by Meta, when you arrive from one of our Meta ads. It remembers that ad for 90 days, so a purchase made days later can still be credited to it if your browser has already cleared the pixel's cookies. Not set if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
04

Third-party cookies

Some features send you to or embed third-party services such as payment checkout, domain registration, email, cloud storage, support tools, analytics, or AI providers. Those providers may set their own cookies or similar storage under their own policies. We do not control those cookies, but we choose providers needed to run the service and limit integrations to legitimate product purposes.

05

Your choices

You can clear cookies in your browser, use browser controls to block non-essential cookies, or adjust product preferences where the dashboard provides those controls. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in and other secure account features from working.

To keep Meta's pixel off our pages and checkout, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or use a browser that sends it for you. We then leave out the pixel and our own ad cookie, and do not tell Meta about your purchases.

Changes

We update this policy when cookie names, product behavior, analytics, or provider integrations materially change.
