Quick Elements

Product / Workspaces

Bring in help, one site at a time.

Invite a designer, a colleague, or a client to a single website. You choose whether they can change it or only look at it, and you can take that back whenever you want.

A sample collaborator panel listing the owner, an editor, and a viewer on one website, an invitation still waiting to be accepted, and the form used to invite somebody new.

Roles

Who can do what.

You set the level when you invite somebody, and it stays that way until you change it. There is no middle rung to guess at.

You

Owner

The person who started the site, pays for it, and decides who else gets in.

  • Change and publish anything on the site
  • Connect domains and set up card payments
  • Invite people, and remove them again
  • Shut the site down

This one stays with you. It is not something you can hand to somebody else.

Hired help

Editor

For the designer, the copywriter, or whoever keeps the shop looking current.

  • Open the editor and work on any page
  • Add products, photos, prices, and wording
  • Publish the changes when they are ready

No billing, no payment details, no domains, and no inviting anyone else.

Look only

Viewer

For the client signing work off, or a partner you want kept in the loop.

  • See the site and how it is set up
  • Follow the work without being in the way

Nothing on the site can be changed from a viewer account.

Inviting somebody

An invitation is a key, not a name on a list.

Nobody joins a site because their address was typed somewhere. They join because they opened the email we sent them, from that address, and it was still good.

Start a site
  1. 01

Pick the person and the level

Their email address, and whether they can change things or only look. That is the whole form.

  2. 02

They open the link we email

Access starts when they open it and sign in as that address. Typing somebody into a box never lets them in on its own.

  3. 03

The link has a shelf life

It stops working after 7 days. If they missed it, send another one.

  4. 04

Change your mind at any point

Cancel an invitation before it is opened, or remove somebody who already has access. Either one takes effect immediately.

What stays yours

One site is all they get.

Letting somebody work on one website opens exactly that. Everything else you have with Quick Elements carries on being yours alone.

01

Just one site

Access is given per website. Everything else in your account stays out of view.

02

Billing stays yours

What you pay, the plan you are on, and where your sales money lands are never part of the deal.

03

Nothing is permanent

Remove somebody and they are out of the site the moment you do it.
